The Jets travel to Carnegie Reserve, Royal Park to take on Western Strikers on Sunday 3 March in a rescheduled Round 2 fixture.

With the extreme heat continuing to play havoc with the early-season fixtures, Modbury face Western Strikers on Sunday afternoon with kickoff at 3:00pm. Both sides came away with wins in Round 1 and will be looking to continue that form this week. The Jets notched an impressive 5-1 result at home to Noarlunga, with a Josh Farrell hat-trick the highlight, while Strikers cruised to a 2-0 victory away at Sturt.

Modbury and Western Strikers will be expecting to be challenging for promotion in 2019 and a positive result early in the season will be important to both clubs as they seek to ensure a solid start to their 2019 campaign.

While the Jets have had the better of Western Strikers in recent seasons, with comfortable home and away wins in 2018, it promises to be a tight affair this time around. Modbury will need to carry their Round 1 form into this match if they are to come away with the points.
