Modbury travel to Frank Mitchell Park at Woodville West on Friday 19 August for a State League 1 Elimination Final against White City, with kickoff at 7:00pm.
After last week’s dramatic come-from-behind win away to Adelaide Victory to clinch a finals berth, the Jets will take much needed confidence into this fixture. Having been on the end of three defeats to White City already this season, Modbury will feel that they are due a win and it seems like a good time to be coming up against a side that appears to have lost their way in recent weeks, taking only a point from their last five matches. But it’s knock-out finals football and anything can happen so Modbury will have to be at their absolute best to keep their season alive.
In their last meeting, the Jets suffered a 2-0 loss to White City at Jet Park in Round 12.
