The Jets hit the road for our Round 7 away fixture against Raiders as we travel to Whyalla for the NSR Australia Regional Rounds.

Following an improved performance yet ultimately disappointing result at home against WT Birkalla last weekend, Modbury will go to Whyalla with much needed confidence. First Team coach Jason Trimboli expects that the neutral venue could come into play and the Jets will be hopeful of a positive result. We will be mindful, however, of the excellent form that Raiders have shown in the past few weeks with their convincing wins over MetroStars and Pirates and will not be complacent.

Irrespective of the outcome, Modbury is proud to participate in the Regional Rounds and to be involved in promoting the game in regional South Australia. We commend the FFSA for their initiative in organising this fixture.

We last played Raiders in a competitive fixture in a Federation Cup clash during the 2013 season, going down 3-0 at home (although our supporters will recall that our U18s came away with a win before going on an inspiring run to the semi-finals of the completion that year).
