In another Friday night fixture, Modbury welcomes Campbelltown City to Jet Park on 12 June 2015 for a 7:30pm kick off.

After a long weekend of mixed results, with a dramatic away win over Comets following a heavy home defeat to Croydon, the Jets need to build momentum by turning in a positive performance at home against Campbelltown. We are a much improved side since we last met in Round 5 in the second leg of a March long weekend double-header. On that occasion, we suffered a 4-0 defeat after being reduced to ten men in the second half.

This fixture will tell us a lot about just far we have come this season. A disciplined defensive performance will certainly be necessary on Friday night and, as we saw against Croydon, we must take our chances in front of goal. While there’s no doubt that we are coming up against a very good Campbelltown side who will be looking to consolidate their top six position, if the Jets can execute their game plan there’s no reason we can’t come away from the match with the points.
