Round 6 of the PS4 National Premier League sees Modbury host West Torrens Birkalla at 3:00pm on Saturday 14 March, 2015.

After an extremely difficult and disappointing long-weekend saw us defeated convincingly by Comets and Campbelltown, the Jets need to respond positively to get their season back on track. A key to achieving this will clearly be to keep 11 players on the park which we have now failed to do in three of our five opening fixtures. Undoubtedly our discipline on the pitch will be the subject of discussion at training during the week.

Despite the disappointing results, First Team coach Jason Trimboli has noted that we have improved significantly from the opening two fixtures of the season but need to put in a complete 90 minute performance to be competitive in the top flight. Supporters will be confident that we can continue to improve and will be expecting the home side to come away with the points before our trip to Whyalla the following week for our Regional Round match against Raiders.

WT Birkalla have made an impressive start to the season and sit in sixth place on the ladder despite their narrow loss to Pirates in Round 5.

Modbury and WT Birkalla (then Adelaide Galaxy) last played in 2011 in the Super League. During that year, we were held to a 1-1 draw at home and went down 3-0 in the away fixture.
